Hi.

I am looking to do my first ABSA Cape Epic next year and I am looking for a compatible partner, I hear that a partner is the biggest and most important choice.I did win an entry in last years lottery entry, but I was not able to keep the entry for various reasons related to work. I am 40 years old and married with 2 children, and I have been cycling since 1987. I am looking to just finish my first Epic.

If you are keen, let's chat and see where it goes.

Many thanks.

Garth.

Just a suggestion that you remove your mobile number from a public site, and request those interested to PM you.

Good luck!

Garth,

I see that u r eager. Would also just like to PM u.

Whew, I have always had the impression that this event is designed to be as technical/difficult as possible in order to ramp it up the international list for the larnies. In the past they used to go up a mountian and rejoin the route in the same place merely to include some technical route. As I prefer stage races, I want to get from A to B. Don't take me on unnecessary detours merely to improve the difficulty of the course. Hence y I did Joberg2C. But the challenge interests me.

A good idea would be to tell what you aiming for, top 200, top 300 or just to make cut-off.

Hi Auction Lamb, check my post carefully I did put that I just wanted to finish.

Cheers Garth

Good morning.

I have been let down once again by some people on The Hub who are keen but never get back to me.

I did get an early bird entry into next years Epic 2013, but I need to pay by this morning. Are there any serious candidates out there?

P.M. me ...

Thanks

Garth

Hi Garth,

Did you ever find a partner? If not and you still have your entry, just wondering if you'd consider riding with a girl? I'm strong and keen to finish. Live in CPT.

Shout if you're interested.

Cheers,

kate
