Probably should don a flamesuit first but: Why can't we (meaning Seffricans) be adult about this? Trafficrules are there to ensure the safety of all road users, but they don't (and probably can't easily) cater for the peculiarities that is cycling*. Which is safer: to slow-roll approach a 4-way stop, and gun over it, as soon as it is safe to do so in company with a car "legally" entitled to cross, or to come to a stop, uncleat, wait for your turn, start again, at the same time re-cleating... You get my drift. So, I'll venture no cyclist obey the rules all the time, but nor should they --> it would not be safe to do so. I can go on, but gotto work

Edit:

forgot to do my asterisk:

There is a big difference between somebody on a bicycle and a cyclist, but that is a different topic again...

Oh look, it's the 'point the finger' argument again .... and again, lets face it, we're all equally as much of a jerk on the roads here.

One day I'll sit and observe the number of cars that roll through the stop street at Vega as well as not stopping at the pedestrian crossing.

Then I'll write a blog or start a forum titled "Motorists, we're our own worst enemy"

The fatty cyclists were wrong, as was the self righteous driver .... what we should worried about is the fact the we need to share the road with both sets of morons. On their steeds and in their respective cars.

I am the jerk giving all other cyclists a bad name - i have a bad attitude not only towards motorists, other races, other cultures, the opposite sex, gays, lesbians, muslims, jews, but also other cyclists too!

you can blame me :cursing:

i've got a lot of aggression from a recent divorce,

Silly. Let it go. You can't get your time and investment back. You can stop fighting now. If you wanted to keep fighting, you should have stayed with her.

Really.

Let

It

Go.

You can't control the people, or the situation, all you can control is how you act in it. And what you've heard about karma, it's all true.
