pista Posted November 11, 2012 Share James Lawrence made a sweet boy with Cerebral Palsy an Ironman today in Arizona! When racing an Ironman, you are given 17 hours to accomplish the race. He pulled Dayton swimming in a raft for 2.4 miles. He pulled Dayton in a cart behind his bike for 112 miles. He ran/walked pushing Dayton in his cart for 26.2 miles. He had 20 minutes to spare when they finished. This race was muscled by James, but we all know this was not done alone. James, aka The Iron Cowboy has broken the World Record for racing and accomplishing the most Ironmans in 1year. He broke that on race #21. His goal is to accomplish 30 this year. This race was #27! His final race will be held on December 2nd in Palm Springs.What a year. No wonder they call him The Iron Cowboy! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
