Check out the blaze blue and orange. I have just peeled the orange off my ss frame, as I now want a more smooth and shiny permanent finish. I bought it directly from the agents in Roodepoort.

Whereabout are they in Roodepoort?

Is it available in clear...? Now that you've brought it up again, I'm thinking of masking out frame protection under my downtube and under the BB and around the chainstay. And how thick is it...?

I have it in clear. Did my fork and it word very nice!

The thing is it comes out in a Matt finish but I think it cool. Different look

A few blocks off Ontdekkers, fairly close to Westgate.

I'd recommend that you call first, as they run it from a house and don't keep huge amounts of stock. My frame was black, so I was recommended to use white first as a base, then the orange. I got about three coats each per can, one white, two orange and it still never completely covered the logo's on the frame. I stopped there as I felt that I had spent enough by then.

Still looked good enough as a temporary solution for me. You can certainly scrub it when it's dirty and it only scuffed through from a bike rack.

I reckon the blaze blue will look awesome. It took me around 25 minutes to remove the entire coating with my bare hands a few nights ago.

I'm just thinking of sanding down my frame and the spraying it black with probably the fork and rear seatstays a different colour.

Thanks for the link CAAD4.

Insane transformations to older cars that are a little weathered at a reasonable rate

What is a reasonable rate?

It is not always an option financially... Especially with an older car, best thing with Plastidip is that if you get boredwith the colour, it can vbe removed and redone quickly and relatively affordable...
