give it a try but coming from an oke who worked in a shop - that rims toast ... if they get it dead straight then they are geniuses.

What rim is it?

if they even manage to straighten it, its probably gonna have lost half its strength. Rather fork out for a new one then get caught unawear when it suddenly goes again

Nige... I have done more harm to your bike in one run than you have done in 3 years... HAHAHAHAHA

I'm still smiling after Sunday's shinanagans... What a brilliant day! I had some doubts as to the need the for another sport but that is blown out the water now! The moment my Sidewinder buggy is sold I know where to spend the money.....and I don't want pretezeled rims on my XC bike.

PS does anyone want to buy my SideWinder Buggy?

I guess with a short track the final times will always be super tight. So, for Tiaan to take by 2secs is pretty phenomenal.

The whiteboard at the finish line with everyone's times on it is an awesome touch and keeps everyone (spectators & riders) involved.

need to try figure out how we can use a doorbell-style beam to do timing - must be a way to use a CHEAP beam like those doorbells that the shops often use and hook it up to a computer with an excel spreadsheet that recognises a time when the beam is broken ... then that works out your time ... dont know if you can get it to 100s of a second though???

Anyone with any ideas?

Flip, i peddled my butt off in my second timed run and really felt like i went at least 5 seconds faster!! sadly i only shaved less than a second off my time. Tiaan did dam well to find that time!!

I know someone. I will have a chat to them this weekend. Him and I have actually been talking about this for a while.
