Have you gone into settings?

 

Press and hold menu

Select settings > bike settings > heart rate > ANT+ HR

Select Yes > Rescan

 

Back out

Heart picture should appear

 

Go ride.

 

If this doesn't work, go ride without monitoring your heart!

I've tried everything now, once I go into settings it simply says yes/no for monitor but no rescan. My sensor ID is showing 0000. Does anybody perhaps know where I can find out what my sensor ID is. Phoned Garmin which turned out as successful as phoning a cell phone company with a query.

Did my upgrade on Friday and no problems until I wanted to power up, with nothing happening. Followed the advice here and held in top left, bottom left and bottom right buttons together and it restarted and from there everything back to normal.

 

Haven't checked all the new features yet, but I guess limited for me because I don't have a power meter.

Since there are normally a couple of bugs to be worked out with a new software upgrade like this, I am following my own rule of thumb and only doing the upgrade in about 4 weeks. Please provide feedback so that Garmin can fix the bugs and I can have a bug free version installed
