Very simple.

  • remove useless der's and shifters
  • remove cassette
  • drink a beer
  • fit chain tensioner to where the rear der was
  • fit loose sprocket on free hub body loosely
  • shorten chain to fit sprocket and tensioner
  • shift sprocket along body to ensure you get a good straight chain line (Look from behind the bike and get it right)
  • Mark this position on the body with tipex
  • drink a beer
  • remove sprocket and add spacers to get the sprocket on the previously mark tipex spot
  • re-assemble the lot and go for a ride
  • drink a beer and smile

You need to take the floppy fork off and put a stiff pair of legs on to keep the wheel on.
