wesley_r Posted June 11, 2012 Share a fair amount - I earn my turns the claimed weight of the rims I currently have (AlexRims SupraBH) is 610g VS the Nukeproof claimed weight of 570g - this is per rim only. wesley_r Posted June 11, 2012 Share Flow rims are a bit more pricey - can't really afford wheels as it is... trying to find the balance between strength, weight and cost. The Nukeproofs seem to be the best option at this stage. Also considered the Flows, the Spank Oozy or Subrosas (not sure the Oozy is tough enough) and the DT Swiss EX500 - all either on Nukeproof, Novatec or Hope hubs. It's only really the rear wheel that's nearing the end of it's life. I have a 15mm, unbranded Giant hub on the front that I'm pretty happy with. Maybe I just buy a complete rear wheel, and a matching rim for the front and have the front rebuilt on the existing hub?
