What's a hipster and why wouldn't someone eat meat?

Reasons for SS are personal.....everyone has their own.

My bike looks cooler without shifters, derailleurs, cables and a long, flapping chain.....

I first rode a SS because my other bikes were sick and in need of repairs ..... bike was built out of real odds and ends, but what a blast

So in a nutshell, more of a challenge.... and slightly mad too.

If an SS biker fell and no one was around to hear.... would they make a sound?

The newer generation single speed riders are so mythical that even the mystic one would be confused.

But yeah in short, they are the Chuck Norri of the cycling world.

Real tough okes let me tell you :whistling:

Ok ok... once I get off the old Silverback, I'll borrow one and see what the fuss is about.

I am a noob... but at least I am not afraid to admit it

Yeah I have seen a few. But I think they would make a sound.

Hey Joe ... in your younger years I am sure you had lots of fun on one of these .... is it clear now?

I did indeed - I understand the enjoyment. But when I was younger I didn't go 20 / 40km on a single.

But I get it... it's a challenge. It's the next newest high, like this "29er" business...

Next there will be unicycle mountain biking

We can SS your silverback in less time than it takes to wash the thing.....go on....

Dude, relax your bones... I am not being negative or derogatory about SS. I am almost certain most people on here could drop me on anything. That's not the point.

No Joe, I am not sure you get it .... as Div says we can strip that puppy of yours down and get her SS in less time that it takes an average JHB resident to hot wire a datsun.

Actually I am not sure I get it either
