Yip. If you've done Hillcrest or Contermans in Cape Town you'll know what I mean. You almost double back on yourself in the turn and drop at least 1 - 2 meters in the process.

 

umm I think you meant 170deg then ;)

 

I'm guessing something like this (minus the bail of course :lol: )

but yeah.. 350deg could be quite cool... some thing like this:

being on wood could make any planned drifting pretty dangerous

Never was good at geometry - 180 is a straight line in my speak. But yes, I mean like the top picture although maybe not such a severe drop-off.

pity though... I was getting excited wondering where in SA there was a cool spirally structure to ride down!

Put it this way... The switchback is a 180 degree corner in that your bike's angle changes that amount. If you approached the corner backwards you could swing the bike through full 360.
