I think that has to be their weakest bit of evidence. Retesting by an agency that has held on to the samples for all these years and is tasked with taking down LA at any cost. That is crying out for an defence of interference or contamination and no response.

Release all the testimony, all the evidence as one bundle and lay it all on the table. It's the only way for the public to really see what is what. There is too much much pride and emotion in the US and too much scepticism everywhere else to do this half arsed.

I'm on the fence, but only because I can't accept that pretty much everyone of my heros from Lemond (excepted) onwards (and in S.Kelly's case) has betrayed my belief and faith in them. Really, has pretty much every one who was something from the mid 80's through two a year or so ago won dirty?

I know that answer already.

There is very much a strong possibility that the answer to your question is "Yes".

Doping has been an integral part of pro cycling for decades and IMO will continue to be so for years to come, no matter what the fat Irishman from the UCI thinks or says (it's not politically incorrect for me to say fat Irisman, as I'm half Irish meself and was fat  !).

Twenty-three California state senators are asking the state's two

U.S. senators to request a congressional review of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency in the wake of the Lance Armstrongsanctions.

My comment to follow has nothing to do with the fact that he might me a prize tjop or not.

But after reading this article it's sounding more and more like a witch hunt and a kangaroo court.

Nice read ,thanks

I find this part interesting.

"We ought to have a fair and just process to determine whether or not speculation leads to someone being guilty," Rubio said. "Should there be a case where one of our Olympic athletes is accused of doping, I hope that they have clear and convincing evidence against them."

I somewhow understand Armstrong's approach on the "unconstitutional" angle.

Perhaps it's time for USADA to re-write their law.

Another article, if you're interested. Mike looks really sad in the photo.

I was Lance’s personal assistant for two years, during the height of his racing career. Do I think he cheated? Yep. But my real problem is something that diehard fans seem unable to grasp: the vengeful tactics he uses against people who tell the truth about him, on and off the bike.

Oh please. He promised me abike shop. Managed one page before I drowned in tears. Sounds like ou ANCYL.

Dude, I'm just posting articles for an all round view. The way you get your knickers in a knot shows your quite a die-hard fan. I think it's been proven again and again that Lance is quite the asshole as a person, although a great bike rider. I think that's where people get confused in supporting him.

It's amazing what one mtb ride with Mr. Bush will do for you he he he.

I true "all things Armstrong" fashion this is turning into ye olde enigma wrapped up in a conundrum he said she said grey area mongolian free for all with little to no actual fact.

Popcorn out - feet up on couch - lets see how this turns out for everyone.

Oh - have his Big 7 actually been deleted yet? I see letour still has this:

2005

Great moments View year fact sheet

2005 End of the Armstrong era

Lance Armstrong drew a line under his cycling career on the day of his seventh consecutive Tour de France victory. The American holds the absolute record for the most Tour wins.

Come on man, don't take things out of context.

My post is in direct relation to Tumbleweed's post.

I am not that stupid .

Get your point, i just get irate when die-hard la disciples listen to the PR machine and fixate on the word "witch hunt" without reading further than that.

I wonder what it would take to get a die-hard fanboy to change his mind? If la confessed to doping, would they believe him? I doubt it as most of them are disputing the testimony of other dopers, so if la admits to doping, he is doper and not to be believed.

Luckily for me I am not a fan-boy of his, ket alone die-hard.

But I agree, it's those guys who actually rubs more salt in the wound.

I am looking at it from a possible legal implication, and although my legal knowledge sucks pigs nuts, I can't help but think that USADA need to change their act (for a lack of better words)

Hahahahahahaha!

Wasn't he riding with Bush when the president bailed on his farm?

Lance rubbed shoulders with politicians on both sides of the spectrum with his cancer work. It was interesting to see John McCain come out in support of Usada when this story first gained momentum.

Lance's ability to polarise people easily outdoes his Big 7. The disciples/fanboys say "witch hunt" - the naysayers say "told you so" and Lance says "whatever - I've got like 15 brazillion dollars".

The only two people that know that truth are Lance and god - and god aint so certain of the facts anymore...
