Too early to ride from home on the day (and not fall asleep on the bike during the day ) . And already have some expenses for later that month for K2C. Will keep an eye open for this for next year, though!

flymango Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 So who is up for this race? My wife and I are considering it. That little pimple from km 28 - 40 looks hectic! And I'm sure the bumps in-between aren't straight forward either. Any idea of the total climbing meters?

Ratty Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 I have a dilema at the moment. I need to train for berg & bush (mtb) and double century (road). My normally mtb trails are mostly singletrack. Each weekend I need to decide which bike I should ride. This race will be perfect as its a cross between road riding and mtbing. I get to ride my mtb which I love and I get some good distance training in...... flymango and knippie 2
