Cheese Posted June 20, 2012 Share Hi, HRM will help you to improve as you will be able to see where you are at.It will not help you if you are still doing the same spinning class though because you did not change the training. If you get a HRM get a training program that guide you at what Heart rate to ride on each day. Spinning classes is just sufferfests that is not designed to follow on each other and you will get much fitter following a proper program. A HRM will also assist you then to track your fitness and you can logg workouts on fittrack.co.za
Christopher Brunsdon Posted June 20, 2012 Share I don't do spinning but using a HRM just for general training rides makes the difference. If your not buying something in the league of a Polar, then visist CWCylces and get their budget Sigmas.

Zatek Posted June 20, 2012 Share It differs from person to person and everybody has a brand. My 1st 2 HRM was Polar and switched to Garmin for the past 3 years. I prefer Garmin beacause it has built in GPS and I have a speedcadence sensor for when I train indoors.
Christopher Brunsdon Posted June 20, 2012 Share CRC and get a ciclo... The ciclo is identical to the Sigma in features.
TNT1 Posted June 20, 2012 Share The ciclo is identical to the Sigma in features. Ya, mine was half the price including duties from CRC than what CWC could do though...
