Carsten Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 I felt sorry for Belinda, they had a breakin on Friday night, nearly everything was stolen. Sound Equipment, prizes, etc. The spot prizes were donations that they received when people heard about the breakin. Even the farmers store was broken into and the dog was poisoned.
DeltaAlphaMike Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Hi all I completed the 30km race on Saturday and I really enjoyed myself (even though at one point I did want to just quit on the race). The main thing though is that I pushed through and completed it which is what I am pleased about
lloydkayak Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Ja, was tough on Saturday, the wind was rough... the better half did sterling but not throwing the bike at me and finished!The new route is very cool though... Was good fun but I was pretty buggered afterwards
Guest Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Personally, I found the 60km tough. The wind and those rocky climbs gave me uphill (excuse the pun) - did not perform my best on saturday.
