But they are all different types of bikes with the exception of 2.

 

1x 4X/Dirt jump bike

1x AM bike

2x DH bike

 

currently the extra DH bike is there for lending to friends who want to see what it's all about. So whilst i personally only ride 3/4 (each of which has had a ride in the last week), all 4 do get used.

 

However i will be selling the spare dh bike soon and those using it will just have to get their own damn bike

Yebo. Different bikes for different applications. The average South African MTBer seems to only know XCM as seen on SuperCycling. But the more adventurous riders may have big hitting DH, FR or AM / Trail bikes which aren't suitable to train, ride XCO or marathons on. And then you just have to have a SS to round off the collection.
