Hi all.

sorry to be only getting back online now but the rest of the weekend was a touch busy.I see all the comments + & - and we appreciate them all and welcome any ideas,I speak for myself at this stage but I think the only non neg at this stage is the start finish venue because it is going to be a winner in the summer as the whole family can join after the ride ,kids can have a gas and we can all stand around ,drink beer and talk cycling.

We will work on the route to ensure a smoother flow with less traffic cross over and more flow.

The rangers did a great job and I agree that we pass a hat around at the next event to help with the cost of the damaged pannier.

We will keep you guys updated as to the finer details closer to the next event.

Cheers

We need to arrange some music for the next Pta CM ride.

Any ideas??

Kiddies trailer or old pram towed by someone. Driven off a car battery or two...

I barely got to hear the music at Jhb CM because the crowd was massive.

I can arrange the Focus RS with all the warning strobe lights that we usually use at the track as a lead pace car!! Its super visable!!

Please do!

Your RS, with our marshals on BICYCLES in high visibility clothing, then we don't need the motorbike guys.

A very basic description of Critical mass bike rides as taken from wikipedia.

"The purpose of critical mass is not usually formalized beyond the direct action of meeting at a set location and time and travelling as a group through city or town streets on bikes."

For the next CM Ride in Pretoria we will be going back to basics...

No motorized Marshals. if you want to join with your RS you are welcome to ride at the back of the group. no road blocking by cars or bikes. we will have a few riders that will have reflective jackets and ride in front and around the group. The route will be planned better for the 31st. Watch this space!

Have a look at the link above...
