Got this from weathersa.co.za for Hammanskraal, Shoshanguve which looks close to Carousel, not much wind and it looks sunny. If they have got it right then it shouldn't be too bad well at least not as bad as yesterday and today.

My legs stayed behind at the bottom of the second bump, was tough getting up there without them Luckily I found them going down, but then it was too late as the bunch got away. Got stuck in a group of 10 where not everybody was working together, and most eventually just sat up. Somebody issued a warning of 'blikseming' to one of the non-workers if he contests the sprint, and I decided to get out of Dodge. Rode off, leaving them to contest their '10th last place in A' by themselves.

 

Was a good ride though! The way back in a dysfunctional group was a lot more honest than what I had hoped for!

There was a Cannondale in the little group, and a bloke in a purple 'suit', but it was an older guy (with moustache I think?) that got threatened.

It sounds about right, I think we taliking about the same group, if so, I was in the same group then. I was on the black and white felt, wearing a biogen top.

Hey! I was the Lab rat on the Red Raleigh Too much testosterone floating around, so I decided to save a few second by pushing on towards the end.

Ok!! always cool to put a face / bike to a fellow hubber!! I didn't have much left towards the end, I was battling to hold on but at least the non workers got dropped on the last stretch home. Thanks for a good ride after losing the bunch, I didn't get a chance to say thanks to all the guys in our group at the finish.

No hassle! Was a good ride. Now for Lost City next weekend. Hopefully my legs would have been woken up from their winter slumber!
