CAAD4 Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Fontana was brave, true olympic spirit, and of course introduced the commentators to the "Lefty". Kulhavy to ride a ds bike, albeit with hardly any movement in that rear shock, and of course the victory wellington boots, as podium shoes, priceless...
Caerus Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Well thank goodness you started a 100 threads of what tools, shoes and helmet you should get, the beachfront rides do get technical you were implying that the coarse was More designed for the 29er and that is why I asked why you ride a 26 inch Never underestimate the beachfront ride, you need all your wits about you. From having to bunny hop an ice cream munching kid, to the switchbacks getting around the longboarders, for me it's the dowhill run from uShaka that best tests your technical abilties. fabes 1
sharkysa Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Hey, did you guys see Fontana go outside the pink markers when he hit Kulhavey wheel and went off track, technically he should be disqualified. Hermida should have bronze!

Hermida should have bronze! I could be wrong but they are allowed a number of infringements, as well as the fact that he did not intentionally cut a corner or go off the course.
CAAD4 Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 I reckon those boots are Czech team issue, as there was a female athlete that wore them on the podium a few days ago..
Wyatt Earp Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Dangle you normally pick up those details?Hi Sharky, which details ?
Wyatt Earp Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 I reckon those boots are Czech team issue, as there was a female athlete that wore them on the podium a few days ago.. All to impress the Brit's of course
sharkysa Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Fontana going outside the pink markers when he touched wheels with Kulhavey, should be DQÂ Â Hi Sharky, which details ?
Wyatt Earp Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Fontana going outside the pink markers when he touched wheels with Kulhavey, should be DQAh, I see.I recall the commentators talking about the markers yesterday and they mention that the riders would be allowed x-amount of infringements outside of the markers. As I said, I could be wrong.
sharkysa Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 O I thought automatic DQ, maybe I just like Hermida too much...???????? Wyatt Earp 1
Wyatt Earp Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 O I thought automatic DQ, maybe I just like Hermida too much... I throughly enjoyed the Spanish teams facial hair
fabes Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012   I throughly enjoyed the Spanish teams facial hair Some mean handle bars on that chap He also impressed Me today, very stubborn and just didn't want to go away
fabes Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 O I thought automatic DQ, maybe I just like Hermida too much...That would of been a bit harsh though in my opinion, because that infringement came from riding hard to stay there, not to cut a corner or something
