I want to put a set of bull horn type bars on my newly acquired fixie instead of the flat bars the bike came with (going to cut the drops off a spare set of road handlebars I have).

Question is though, what brake levers do I put on?

I'm thinking more along the lines of TT type levers?

I used a set of really old road levers, adapted sligthly for internal cabling & machined bar end plugs accordingly. It was fitted on some old handlebars, cut & turned for "bull horns"

Still have the bars & levers for part of my new build. Give me a shout should you need some help or anything else.

Fixie with brakes?????

Sounds wrong to me.... but I am not a fixie expert by any stretch of the imagination. :)

It may sound (or even be) wrong but I have a fixie and were it not for the brake I would have unscrewed my hips by now ....

BTW Thug I have an old brake only type road lever if you want me to bring it with? Hoping to drop the stash off Friday anyway! It is the one with the 'internal' type cabling not the 'sticky out' one ....

I used a BMX lever on my flat bar but it just 'feels' wrong, does work a treat though .... somehow the 'pull' feels wrong?
