TCR by far. 

 

I have a 2011 TCR Adv SL with the ISP, and it is a superb bike, light - without even trying too hard (6.8kg), and rides like a dream.  The lesser TCR will just be a trad heavier due to the seatpost.

What about a 2013 giant TCR vs a 2019 Merida Scultura 4000?

Bit of an odd comparison don't you think? you'll get the 2013 TCR for around 13k 2nd hand whereas the Scultura is new and in the high 20's. You should be able to to get a similar spec 2019 TCR for around the same money as the Merida.

Depends on which versions you are looking at and what specs they have. 

 

All things being equal, I'd choose the one that looks the best to you. 

 

You won't go wrong with either of them.
