Ok so in June I bought one of these rear lights. They claim the output to be 44 lumens. The light is rechargeable via usb.

The problem is that the first one i had lasted about a month before I could not get it to turn off. My lbs replaced it and now number 2 is starting to give problems as well.

So I was wondering whether any hubbers are experiencing the same problems, would appear to be not such a great product. And at R300.00 it was not cheap.

Any comments?

Never had that model but I didn't have too much luck with those small frog (?) lights of theirs either. Front eventually wouldn't switch on and the rear wouldn't switch off. Both went at around the same time too. Lasted just over a year.

Ask for a refund and go buy a Blackburn.

Hi. Bought few years back. Not rechargable one but have same problem.

Would ride and switch off afterwards. Next time bat would be run down.

Works lekker, bat doesnt switch off or some how switches itself on..

That's the problem ,the switch is too complicated. If you hold it in for 2 seconds the light would come on. Any longer and the light goes into de-charge mode and runs the battery down.

Blackburn is nice, though I have been using Light & Motions Vis180 2 winters now and it is still going strong. Only had to replace the swivel bracket. Probably one of the brightest rear lights avaiable.
