Friend of mine uses avid bb5/bb7 & they def better then crappy hydro's,even if for abit of fade when they hot.

Wow well if you gonna use Avid hydro's then you you'll get better braking with the good old heel on the back wheel method.

I knows the BB5 and BB7 are mech. Just saying tey the only decent brakes Avid make.

Yeah only problem is they fade faster than a Chinese T-shirt.

Really? Hmm.... Mine must be a sweat shop worker then. Both sets. They work and work and work. Never complain, in fact... Both XX and Elixir 5's.
