So I missed out on snatching up Patches' Izimu by 15 min this week (not to mention his fork by only 5min), which p1ssed me off enough to phone Morewood and buy a frame from them, so I will be a proud owner soon of one of these:

I also already have one of these:

and this

I have some SRAM stuff that I will take across for the drivetrain and have some juicy 3 brakes for now.

So now I am looking for wheels and a fork. Any recommendations (don't worry about budget constraints as I am more interested in what people like)?

I was looking at the Domain dual crown compared to a Boxxer, could any one provide some insight into the price diff and any riding experience on either? And if I go Boxxer is there much difference between the RC and R2C2?

As far as I know the domain is a budget triple clamp for with minimal adjustment. RC is rebound and compression damping, R2C2 is seperate high and low speed adjustment. I'm a marzocchi fan myself, easy to strip and rebuild etc. I was also trying to get Patches frame, bargain of the year!!

BikeBailing, you may have missed the Izimu I was selling... but you're getting a pretty sweeet deal there with the 2010 frame!

I'm not the biggest fan of the 2011-onwards Izi's cos of that curved top tube and the smooth moulded look rear triangle. I like the beefy chunckyframes ones with the CNC'd swingarm.

Now as for build... firstly, what colour frame are you leaning towards?

Then for wheels, here's a killer looking DH wheelset at a very decent price

I love the look of spoon stuff  The frame is coming in blue so thinking about colouring combos. All I know is that I don't want people thinking I''m poor with black rims! Eish that is so low class

ok... so I shouldn't tell oyu this because it's my weakness... but I have a thing for Blue and Orange combos.

Those orange spoon rims on your blue frame will look amazing! I'll be super jealous!

It'll be something like this

I looked at the Azonic a few months ago but I'm sure I read about some issues on them. That's why I went for the Da Bomb Revolvers. I'll need to check up on them.

Yup, I have the Spikes in white on my Makulu. Quite a few people aren't fans of Spank rims. I personally haven't had a problem, hence the reason I took the fancy red DT-Swiss FRs off my Mak and put on the Spikes (on red Hope Pro II's).

But if you're going for a complete Spank Spike wheelset, be aware that there are 2 differnt types of Spank Spike rims. The regular Evos (35mm wide), and the Race (28mm wide) and as far as I know the complete Spank wheelsets only come in the Race width, so Spoons (32mm wide) would be a better bet in terms of complete wheels for bashing rocks. If however you are building a race bike... then don't listen to me

Fudge that, I want an industrial strength bike! I have 32mm wide wheels on the bike I use for XC B) If I cared about weight, I'd probably look to myself first :w00t:

If by fatty, u mean beefcake then you sir have described me perfectly. This is me prior to weight gain 400 (people often queried if I suffered from the anorexleia)
