Best place to buy spokes

I need some help in finding the best place to buy spokes. Any recommendations?

 

Either DT Swiss or Wheelsmith spokes.

if you know the length, then CRC's spoke prices are way cheaper than the average LBS. (or at least they were, last time I checked)

I gave up trying to get Sapim CX Ray's at a decent price locally - UK seller gave me a price of £1.83 a spoke - about half the price I saw elsewhere. Plus they would sell me the exact number I needed individually not just boxes of 20. Saved me a ton.

 

No offense to DT Swiss - but from the research I did, they come out as a much better spoke too.

Your nipples, are they brass, can you get them in red, how much?

G you need to work out the length using one of the many spoke calculators, and the specs from the rim and the hubs, which generally can be found on the manufacturers web sites or spec sheets.

 

Warning: results may vary.

I was also worried about this - got 3 sets of calcs done by independent sources just to be sure (incl my wheelbuilder in SA). Only when they all came back with same answer, I placed the order (George Halls Cycles in UK).
