Depends if you have your hijacking boots on today…

Let's see what happens if we post a traffic light on page 2. Will the hubbers stop?

I am offended where is the report button

Red is red, green is green. If somebody is colour blind and still wants ride the bike, must ask some dude for assistance.I don't know anyone (cyclist) who won with the car.Be carefull, the choice is still yours!

Yes but do you not feel that 1 cyclist creating awareness for other cyclists is what we should really focus on? But now we all get a bad name because of those pricks but now you want to get your panties in a knot because of the camera in the car

Iike the OP said he stopped. Thus doing the right thing so he has all the right to point out others. But if was doing the same and moaning would he have a leg to stand on?

When in groups, peoples can do some silly/stupid things.

It's called 'group mind'.

Nice one however I still think someone like Niner is going to come and tell you the cyclists weren't in the wrong because he sees motorists doing the same thing everyday.

Oh crikey, can you imagine if the OP took a photo, he would have started whining about him taking his hands off his bars and endangering the lives of other riders.

bla bla bla bla bla..........

Skipping a red light is not a good idea, but if the OP was taking pictures of them doing it while skipping the light I would have pointed that out.

HAHAHAHAHA

I hadnt got to this post before I replied

Try a Critical Mass ride to see what a wrong message is sent out about cyclists and their ability/need to abide by traffic laws. Albeit in the name of protest, still not cool in my books.

At least that's in the spirit of 'protesting'.

We have such a negative spirit of protest in this country. Toy toy, flip bins etc. as long as we're having fun. How about chicks in bikinis handing out flowers to waiting motorists? Flyers with the message?

There is a group riding out of the Northern Suburbs (led by an old / ex Pro rider). They also do not stop at red Traffic lights or Stop streets. I rode with them twice, and both times they behaved the same, so I think I am safe to assume that this is their normal riding behavior.

Both times I rode with them I voiced my concerns for the safety of the group with the leader of the pack, but I got ignored.

Must admit, I got a good workout, chasing down the group from every Stop street and Traffic light.

I vowed never to ride with them again, and as a fact has left an organised ride once I realised "they" were part of the group.

Back to the OP's thread title, I can safely say that I have yet to see a traffic light on singletrack :whistling:

An interesting, however useless, point to discuss will be whether cyclists on a single track would obey it, if there was one?

If it was red, but there were no cars in a radius of 10km, would you still stop?

There is a stop sign on Red Route Harkerville. It does grab your attention.
