I got separated from my mates who i was riding with and they seemed to enjoy it, and didn't find the route i went on. haha Check the yellow marker, I think i was somewhere either on that path, ended up doing about 20km or so.yep...top of Wendell's revenge. Not going there for the Olympic Footwear 24hour
Wendell Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 Route last year was do-able for all levels, the twisty bits i found myself hugging almost every tree on a bend, trees might look fragile but i came off second best when i shoulder charged them. Tuxstir Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 I’m sitting here. behind my desk.. looking very busy doing stuff at work..... but all I can think about is the ride the weekend, the twists and turns through the forest section, speeding through down the concrete section, riding the flat section towards vlei side of things . and crossing that line repeatedly.... changing over and letting my team have their turn before going it again.. doing the midnight ride... possibly starker’s. .. and maybe if I’m lucky like last year doing the dawn and dusk rides again.the wind in my hair, and my tires eating up the miles as we have fun. the socializing that will happen and the competiveness we all know will happen, even when we say we JUST going to have fun. too all the boys and girls joining me .. lets have a blast and a party... That is the REALLY difficult section, White i think, apparently riddled with warning signs...
