disk brakes

I recently purchased a silverback alpine 2008 model. I find the brakes ( tektro V's) work well until I hit the mud /water. I was thinking of upgrading to hydraulic disk brakes. Can anyone suggest the best brakes to buy price / quality wise?

KCNC disc go for +- R1200 for a set. Then you still need hubs. So you are looking at about R2000. Almost what the bike cost. I would sell the bike and buy something better.

Don't know about calipers and stuff but I have ordered some of those Alligators rotors at 100ZA rond that were mentioned a while ago here on the hub! Should arrive this week ......

potent, check die picture. Sien jy daai onderste 3 boute wat die disk vashou.

 

 

 

As jou huidige HUB 6 van daai gaate het, kan jou hubs disks vat. as dit nie daar is op jou hub, is dit nuwe hubs wat oorgebou moet word, of nuwe "disk" rims

Bigben, daai silver roters is by CWC ook vir R100 , maar sy presiese model boetie, die goue kleur outjies is R150.

 

 

 

Daai goues gaan lekker bling lyk.
