DO I HAVE SUFFICIENT ILLUMINATION ON MY BIKE?

Exposure Maxx D. I bought them in 2010 from Tour de Frans at R4500 each. The lights cost me 13 times than the bike (before the new paint job). I am sure that you can, these days, find less expensive lights for the same price.

Sorry. I meant: '. . . . less expensive lights for the same LUMENS.'

From your signature: 'I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.' An upshot from this: 'When people agree with me I know I must be wrong.'

What about your rear tail light. That's way more NB.

Most people have nice front lights but a small tail light.

1) He fixes this problem by removing the brakes, thus making what's in front of the bike of uppermost importance.

2) When you have airplane lights in front of you, people behind you can see a very sharp silhouette. A rear light would only reduce this effect.

I am extremely safety conscious.

I don't give a damn for a person that stares at a red traffic light when it is perfectly safe to proceed.

nice attitude, or is that only when on your bike?
