Ok, so recently (now its nice and warm) been struggling with sore bum due to chaffing.

What can be done to prevent this? I cycle without undies, is this advisable?

Thx

I use cheap baby bum cream, but you'll have to use fissan or some proper "skin repair" cream to get you skin on par, first.

Your saddle too high or too low?

Definitely no undies as the seams can eina you.

Chamois cream highly recommended.

Hi Puncheur,

I have not adjusted my saddle recently - started having the problem now that it is warmer (sweating more), will get chamois cream.

Thx

From Dischem - milking cream. Can also mix with an antibacterial cream, or an oil like arnica for extra smoothness.

Ok

Just checking if there's unnecessary rocking of the hips.

Cool!

Take a rest to first recover the saddle area tissue.

Baby powder also keeps the area dry and thus promote healing.

Good luck, man.

It's a big day for cycling in the North.

Then hit it with some Fissan paste pronto. Only thing better is Metanium smile.png

I'd throw some bactraban in there - for the quick heal. that stuff works and fast.
