Het laas week di nationals gedoen di saterdag en league op di sondag...

Mrs Colonel Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Colonel did this ride with me last year - and he got dq'ed for crossing the white line. Quite a hard start, but it's a really really nice ride. The most difficult part was Polkadraai.I also rememeber it being FLIPPIN hot. Not sure that I feel like waking up before God to get to Somerset West on time though...

Dis 'n flat race en jy behoort 35km/h te ave in die D or E bunch. Pas net op dat jy nie drop in die strawberry "plaas se duik", as jy daar drop, en bo kom, is die bunch reeds onder teen die bult af en dan ry hulle platpad en dit sal neuk om hulle weer daar in te ry.

HomerSimpson Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 I'll be there. Rding through from Stellenbosch, marshal, start at the back end of the long ride, have a hamburger, ride back to Stellenbosch (maybe) Mrs C...it's a late start, ride starts at 07:00, not the usual 06:30.

YES!!! This is exactly what happened. He had also just put a brand new seat on his bike which he messed up trying to show off as well. Flip - that was very funny - thanks for reminding me! Maybe that's why he isn't riding!!
