Pittstop Posted November 15, 2012 Share Looking at trying my hand at more of the DH tracks soon, and looking at the following options as my current bike feels a bit small on steeper descents (Current bike is a medium Mongoose Black Diamond) Buy DH bike, or get a new multi-purpose frame and swop over the parts from the Goose? A full DH rig would then mean I had 3 bikes in the shed and could specialise each more, instead of having more generalist setups, though just a frame upgrade would most likely be cheaper and mean less storage space. Currently looking at some of the 2nd hand DH bikes on sale, or some of the more freeride frames on the net (NS Soda has my interest for some reason) Any thoughts or recommendations? I will be having money soon(ish.....maybe....depends on SARS). But in the mean time am planning to test the bikes that are on sale here, till I've made up my mind.
