No, but there is a value mart shopping centre just down the road with a fournos and mugg and bean. Otherwise, drive to the cradle and have a brekkie there.

It's gonna take a loooooong time for them to be fixed. Think I was one of the last to o through bennies bend before they changed the route. Being on the SS I tried to ride it and that hole on the corner was so deep that my front wheel buried up to the hub.

As always the team at Rietvlei have been working flat out on the trails. Rode them on Wednesday and they were already looking good again. The 24hr 'bypass' of Bennie's bend was temporary so I guess the normal route should be taken which though 'rooty' is very ridable!

I ride at Thaba a lot, the green mostly, the blue still scares me as I have only been mtb'ing since March.

I ride alone, which I would like to change anyway.

I find the green route to be tough from a fitness and strength point, it isn't that technical.

I would love to try the other two, but as I said I ride alone, are they safe to ride on your own, and can someone who has been riding only 8 months and still building their technical ability be able to ride and enjoy Van Gaalens and Kings Kloof.

Rode Thaba Green this morning (birthday ride). Really enjoyed it. Preferred it to Kingskloof as I found it more manageable but very similar in terms of topography. And you have the option to make it as technical as you want by trying the different blue routes. 2 thumbs up. Haven't ridden VG yet, but Thaba currently top of my list for a general fun ride with some technical options.
