No Fleece top.

Why did the route change. The jock is not the Jock without Hilltop and Boulders.

Spitskop on stage 2 into Sabie, and then Long Tom Pass back to nelspruit. Jock isnt the Jock without Barberton. must be serious access issues.

Road works. It's quite short stages, but obviously with big climbs - is it all out racing or more social?

I have not done it for a few years. I did a few when it was still a good one stage ride of 150 km and 2200 m of climbing. I lost interrest when the broke it up in stages again. And seeing that the entry money is up and with all the toll fees to get there I would rather save up my bucs and do the Panorama tour.

The new price is rather steep. 580 bucks!

 

Accommodation and round trip to Nelspruit (not to forget toll fees, fuel and food) is the climb that worries me most.

 

There is the Powerade Mountain 2Mountain Challenge in limpopo that may be a better alternative in July.
