Broke my wrist there on Saturday - and just when I was really enjoying myself!! I have a date for mid Feb now smile.png

Oak Valley can be sneaky.

I once had a tree jump out at me on a section of ST when I was just getting my FlowJo on and the next thing is this tree steps out in front of me and knocks me on the shoulder so that I ended up head first in a pile of rocks that refused to move.

On the brighter side of this story, my helmet broke and I got to buy a new one :)

Wtf? When how what time, were you part of that big group that had a picnic out. Sorry to hear.

The very exciting ST just after the slow down valley looks like this

"Compulsory portage"

My buddy and i past you guys just before that, still told you the road was blocked, wondered how you got through because we only saw you at the end.

On the way back my buddy lost it and went off his bike (not good for his first oak valley experience) and 10minutes later there at the steep drop where the go slow signs are i lost it and went over the handlebars.

Have riden there dozens of times and the first time i came off. Im still a bit bruised but oak valley is still awesome and i hope to return there soon!

We wondered where you guys went. We knew there had to have been a way thru wonder if i can mail oak valley about the tree, i assume they maintain the tracks. Would be nice to flow through when we head out on Saturday

I usually inform the guard at the gate of anything on the track, just forgot on saturday after i crashed.

They should have contact details on their site.
