Did a South - North transverse of the Jhb CBD this morning on my bike, its been a while. Rea Vaya lanes that have been implemented take up most of some of the main roads (Commissioner, Rissik)

That means that the other traffic is squeezed into narrow lanes on either side. That also means no verge, and cyclists are forced into the car lanes, and that is a very nervous ordeal.

Why are cyclists not accommodated for on these routes? because no one put it on the agenda!

And that's why we need a cyclists voice, to campaign and fight for cyclists rights, like the London Cycling Campaign. Who's in?

I ride my bikes (motorised and non motorised) in the bus lane.

That makes sense to me and I will try that.

Problem is some hubber might spot you, take a photo, start a thread called " arrogant stupid dum roadies break the rules so no wun respeks us" and post the photo. Then we will have to put up with 17 pages of drivel on a Friday afternoon.
