BenDL Posted January 5, 2013 Share During the month of January I will use my bike light during every ride I do when on a public road. 1) As a sign of repect and rememberance of Burry 2) To be more visible on the road. Care to join me? Ben de Lange nathrix
Evan Andreou Posted January 5, 2013 Share Sounds like a good idea Ben. Why stop at January, make it a permanent thing?
Sepia Posted January 5, 2013 Share Yes, do it. For Burry and your own safety. (It should be made a rule, just like motorbikes)

Dirtbreath Posted January 5, 2013 Share Brilliant. I don't understand why bicycles are not required to carry visibilty equipment like other roadgoing vehicles. Or are they. Reflective bibs, reflectors, lights, etc have such a poor rep amongst cyclists. These things can help reduce accidents even in daylight.

Guest The Bushpig Posted January 5, 2013 Share I've been doing this for a while now, and will continue to do so(when I am able to ride again; stupid broken ankle keeping me off currently). My light has saved my tail a couple of times in daylight(the look on the motorist's face says it all). The brighter, the better; and rather get flipped the bird than run over by some moron because he/she is half asleep whilst en route to work.
