Gazzetta dello Sport reporting that Danilo Di Luca failed an out-of-competition test for EPO on April 29

Did you see his quote yesterday?

"Doping is a weakness, period. But it's disappeared from cycling and other sports" Danilo Di Luca interviewed by La Gazzetta on Wednesday

Procycling is ****** and will remain ****** as long as the current mob remain in charge.

Di Luca previously tested positive for CERA at the 2009 Giro d’Italia and was handed a two-year suspension, subsequently reduced to 18 months after he apparently provided information on doping methodologies to the Italian Olympic Committee.

It's the Giro... the Italians will dope. Weird how they are never anywhere near this level for the Tour de France. Same with the Spaniards in the Vuelta. The sport is still a long, long way from being clean. In business you never shoot the golden egg... the riders know this.

And it's not like it's new for Di Luca - he doped all the way to his last win, it was obvious and bloody ridiculous... also tested positive before. I remember seeing a photo of him on the side of the road during his suspension given high fives to all his Italian comrades :cursing:
