Eeish you giving that bike away, looks mint and with nice spec.

Why the hell did you buy that when you had a Shova already?

Crazy!

I always had 2 bikes in my dream world: Shova & Reign

Always scouted the classifeds & after I couldn't find either I decided to build the Shova...

As fate would have it there was this beautiful Reign at a very good price & I couldn't resist.

With the little upgrades to the Shova (RS RT3 & angleset) I am going to stick to it & let the Reign find a good home for the rest of it's time on this beautiful planet we call: eath

I know it's 'crazy', but I had to try it out to be able to tell which bike I prefer more. Also it's bikes we're talking here, so nothing is crazy with having a Shova & a Reign

I would love to keep 'em both, but I can't.

Nope. No brain here. Just a normal RP23 and a lyrik. SO no expensive service!!!

But still that's probably a solid R1500 worth of services, it's just been done and it's 15% of the price and on top of that he's neg.

Looks like one of those legend hub deals!!

So I got my GT Force back today from Mikes Bikes, still waiting on black Formula cables.

Full strip and service, got the forks p/coated and decal'd in blue, black bars, black WTB saddle, ODI grips, KCNC 50mm stem, replaced rear CrankBros rim. (Still wish the CB rims were black)

Looking much better! First ride at Cascades Enduro this weekend!!

Chatting to DubbelBuys about that Angleset to slacken her up a bit.

Nicely done!

What did you do with the saddle that was on there? Have been looking for one!

Looks sick! Amazing how a parts tweak cleans up a bike and makes it into a machine.

How much did the powder coating and stickers on the fork cost? You sure it wasn't 2k they used to paint it?

Thanks Iwan

Hahaha I remember seeing that post - so you are STILL looking for one!?

I'm not sure if I'm ready to let go of it just yet. But PM me with an offer and lets see!

Thanks dude, I was stoked when I saw it. I didn't pay too much attention - I suppose it could have been a 2k paint job-makes sense, price wise I'm not too sure, didn't ask for a slip. I've just sent Mike a msg to ask what it cost.

So, black rims, what do you think? Added weight for no reason but show??

They look good as is, looks like they are steel grey kind of color? But I suppose if you have money to burn, burn it!!

Truth be told I'd ride those rims till they need replacing, if you are going to be going hard and learning some new stuff along the way there's going tobe some damaged wheels in the mix.

Ok Mike got back to me... Around R1400 for spray, decals and fork service. He did add that it will naturally differ from fork to fork.

Remember this was a full rebuild and service.

Sommer a Revelation decal as well - attention to detail. Ryan photo bombing

Its a colour called gun smoke. I already had to shell out some money replacing the rear rim, the one I bought the bike with was warped and dented really badly. Remember I bought this for R9000, all while thinking I was going to sell a motorbike and get a Knolly or some other extravagant machine. So Im happy to spend some money on it after I got her for what I feel is a bargain.

(I should be burning money on a sweet '96 CR250 - been hunting for one for my next project)

That's a classy spray and decals, very fair price if it includes a rebuild, definitely gets the bikes look popping.

And seeing that rim color close up I'd say keep it, it's a nice offset to the black and it's a sick color for rims.

Oh ja, I know of someone selling a virtually pristine 93 CR125 for R12k, if you interested pm me and I'll send you a link to the ad.

Are those original RS decals or cutout vinyl? They are really good looking, making me amped to redo the stickers on my Rev

I'm not too sure, when we were discussing what we were going to do on the bike, Mike said he may be able to get hold of some decals. Look original to me, but hey, people are getting duped with R90k Chinarellos .

They aren't die cut. I'm just missing the XX on the crown....

Most RS forks ship with a decal set in the box. Those look like std "extra" decals
