just out of interest, anyone with a giant trance 2 2014 - what does your forks stanctions length? mine measures 155mm , and it can bottom out.....

Anyone using or have tried these - Troy Lee Designs WS5205 (or something similar)

 

 

My hands go numb during rides. Right wrist is also "tenderish" - I know I have a wrist after long rides, pinkie stays numb for days ...

 

I read that these may help, especially if there's a potential of a little bit of arthritis added ...

You better get it checked out - you may have something like ulnar nerve entrapment.

Okay so I checked it...140mm .

I also made the mistake of pressing the valve thingy while the bike was still hanging on the wall (from front wheel) so it squirted a little of the blue fork oil out. I hope that doesn't affect the performance?

My buddy rides with them and he swears by them. He is an occasional Hubber: Wessel-Louis. PM him.

I measured mine a while ago. Mine was 150mm, but couldn't get that last 10mm of travel. They must have some quality control issues at fox with this fork - 3 different forks, all with different measurements and travel.

Two years ago at the Mankele Avalanche there were a couple of guys with new Yetis. Both had 150mm Fox forks but visually you could see that they had less than 140mm of exposed stanchions. Measurement confirmed it.
