here is the oppisite for you....bad pic, but THE best bike on this thread! )....I'm of course talking about the one lying down... (he was doing a bit of tame DHI-ing this weekend)

that is a spez idea for a chain guide. It is actually a one piece chain stay protector and chain guide.

What's the internal diameter of the headtube? 44mm, 49mm?

Well, I cant say much about the Ibis because I only road the bike for 2 hours.

Size was the main issue for me. The medium was a tad small, the geometry did not suite my body.

I could have made it work but I was lucky enough to find a stumpjumper frameset at a good price.

I knew the specialized would work for me because I have owned a few in the past.

I was right, bike is setup perfect and even with the short stem. The right setup really inspires confidence.

 

I wish the Ibis frame worked out for me because I was lusting over that frame for a very long time.

 

 

Yes, the Ibis SL-R frame with only 2hours on it is still for sale. Price is negotiable. :devil:
