Skubarra Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 (edited) At the moment the event is listed as a "funride" and according to PPA, our partners for this event, we are not allowed to have medals.  What a moronic rule!!!! Not that I care about medals but still.... But I have done other PPA "funrides" where they gave medals, so maybe its a new rule? Again, I would rather take the bottle of wine

Again, I would rather take the bottle of wine Or maybe we are understanding the rule incorrectly meaning that you are not allowed to give medals to 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. but you are allowed to give everyone that finishes a medal? lerouc 1

New Landy new life Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 (edited) Entry fee very reasonable considering how well run the event is and a nice bottle of wine and decent lucky draw prises. Just for comparison, the Penny pincher series cost a whole whack more than this event and seemed less well organised but not anything to moan about. Were there official photographers along the routes where we can get prints? Couldn’t remember seeing any flashes blinding me on any of the downhills. Edited June 12, 2013 by CapeLandy
