So big. So very, very big!

Are those jumps out of the berms or just features to assist braking?

On that trail the jumps are offline. It's actually a super easy trail. Green. There's 32 berms on the trail from top to bottom. And most of them are more than 2m high. Like NOTHING I've ever seen here.

There's a trail Called Panoramic that is the natural intro to this trail. That's got about 15 2m high berms in it.

Edit. I've just noticed the little white thing in the one picture is a bike. Hahaha. I guess that gives you some perspective.

Just watch out for a certain cap jump on the straight section just after the start of Serpentine.

Although I'm guessing the safety bridge they installed (around 13th August 2012... one day too late), has now become a permanent feature.

So how many of you here would be keen to test YT's for a day or so in Morzine and if so, which bike?

If the buggers are going to bring test bikes through tell them to pack an extra Wicked Comp in for me. The buggers will only ship to private residences Very grumpy about this, but I wouldn't mind testing the Capra and Tues too.

Threaten your connection for me please. ;)

Anyone had experience hiring bikes in Morzine? I'm thinking of hiring a downhill bike for short while.

I wouldn't mind getting the DH experience for a day or two, just to know what it's all about really.

This doesn't look like such a bad option:

http://www.toricomor...hire/mtb-pulse/

A nukeproof pulse comp for 84 EUR a day, not exactly cheap but manageable for a day or two.

Some of the others I've seen online for hire look pretty old and knackered.

Any thoughts?

btw I sure like the look of the new trails they're building.

I had to rent a bike for 2 days in 2011 from the GT shop. Not cheap. Torico's bikes are probably the best rental bikes in Morzine. They are pretty well priced (relatively) and are well taken care of.
