Dis omdat die site nog van die hosts gerun word, dis meestal die mense wat van telkom adsl af hardloop wat die probleem het! Dit vat so 24uur om uitgesort te word. More behoort alles reg te wees!

Jammer.

Site looks good and the product range will improve as time goes on. But i'm not impressed with the prices. But hopefully they will improve with time. Good work to CWC at least we now have a good online bike shop in SA.

Sadly i will stick to EU & USA online untill pricing improves.

Yep. Great on prices. Confused

What's the difference between the Dura Ace STI's on

and

[Except that CWC's charges R1400 more?]

Apologies if the STI's on CWC is a newer model than those on chainreaction [which I doubt], but I think CWC's suppliers are ripping them off badly Dead Common, R1975.98 vs R3400?

Only a idoit will think like that!

Yip. Sorry. My bad

ZAR/USD    7.37

at $270.69 for the DA STI's that equals R1994.98 [and if you click on the ZAR link on chainreactions' date= you don't even have to do the conversion yourself!!Big%20smile]

add the R145.12 postage [dunno how they do that, but if that's what they quote...]

and you get R2140.10

Compare that to your LBS price of R4200 and CWC's R3400...

Yip. You're right. I'm definitetly an idiot if I only pay R2140

Shaiks, didn't know that Confused

Let's try it again.

ZAR/EUR 10.99

EUR 215.03 for the STI's & EUR 13.44 for shipping.

Hmm, that equals EUR 228.47 total, and if we convert that to ZAR, it equals R2510.89.

OK. I FINALLY SEE IT! R2510.89 is A LOT more than R2140. Never mind the fact THAT IT'S STILL CHEAPER THAN R3400 or R4200!

Double dumb@$$ on me Dead

Ha ha...
Man i hope you dont start a import business one day!!

Nope, don't think so. There's no "kick" in sales. You can only make your prices "that" low. I'd rather stay in specialised services...

You should become a standup comedian. People will get good laughs out of your attacks on other by just slapping together meaningless words without having a look at the evidence. Just have a look at your last & 3rd last post in this thread...Clown

Anyways, OT again. The site looks, well, "normal". I don't see any support for credit cards. Apologies if this feature is hidden somewhere, but it would've really been nice if I could use my card to pay for it.

Re the prices: it's everyone's choice where they want to buy. Personally I won't buy the more "expensive" items from them. I also don't know what their markup is, and I don't know what all their other expenses are, but I don't care. If I can get a multi-thousand rand item cheaper at another shop, I won't think twice about where I'd buy.

I'll definitely use cwc to reference local prices, but let's just hope that the new site stays updated...
