Sadly, I'm missing it this year. Last year was fun in the pouring rain, catching up and overtaking Alex P's group every time they punctured. I was totally knackered when I got to Magaliesburg.

Be safe and have fun!

Yeah, Ian Kernick is one of the tougher Audax routes! Sorry you can't make it this time. Join us for one of the 200s next year :-)

Good luck for Sat and Sun Speed Racer hope you have good weather and no wind.

Really dissappointed I cant make it

Thanks, Crasher. For a few days there, it was looking like I was riding solo :-(. A few entries later, and the field has five confirmed, and two more probables. Sorry you can't make this one.

How did it go ?

Tough ride. I abandoned at 250km. Doing these rifes without training is not fun. . Johan abandoned at 420km with knee pain. Nigel , Michelle , Nico and Ernest all finished.

How many riders are riding on Sunday?

Do we need to carry all our own food? Or will there be a seconding car?

Not sure how many but support only allowed at stops during audax rides as it is self-supported.

Doing the Kernick ride on Sunday - first one!

I have no idea what I should be doing with regards to plotting routes, times, etc.

Who may I get hold of to obtain the route and general info?

Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated.

+1 regarding advice! A bit of a nuubie regarding this event.

Also I know its not a race but what is the average speed?

Expected time of finish?

Look on https://crestawheelers.co.za/ for link to route map.

1st stop is at 85km then again at 141km. Shops at both stops so you can buy whatever you need. Carry spares.

Groups will form and riders will find their preferred pace. Depending on number of entrants.
