now should i or should i not apply? if i apply would i have the support of the cycling community or would i lose all my friends? damn...

thing is, i want to get more technical than i already am and this would be a step away. at the same time i know i'm passionate enough about cycling and i meet a lot of those criteria...

*sigh*

I would seriously consider the position.  I think the right person on the inside might just get something right, as my boss says, small wins people!

ewep, i am. especially 'cos if a certain person hears about this she might apply and that c(w)ould be a disaster (cherry would know EXACTLY what i mean, and if grapkas figures out who i'm talking about she'd agree)

ok, now to go home and think and consider. it will be a radical change in career path but i do seriously think we need someone who is passionate about the sport to get into that position, not someone more concerned with personal politics.

I spoke to a few guys about that' date=' and they won't do it for double that salary!!!smiley5.gif So I won't even look at it again![/quote']

That's probably because you guys are so over paid up in Gauteng to compensate for beeing so far away from the sea....smiley36.gif

CSA's head office is in Cape Town, so I suppose the person would need to relocate there, unless he / she wants to do even MORE traveling.
