Bike vs Car Klipriver and Swartkoppies on Saturday 11 June

Saw allot of bikes standing around a ambulance yesterday morning, Saturday 22 June, just before 8am,

 

anyone know what happened.

Hate to ask but but was it not just the start of the Sat. morning group ride? They do attend some rides . We had ER 24 behind us all the way yesterday.

I really hope it was that.

 

though if it was, then Id suggest the guys don't stand the left lane full (maybe off the road/sidewalk better idea), otherwise ER24 is not going to have to go far to help someone.

There was a rant along those lines with photographs a while ago.

I stay to the left and out the way .

ye otherwise they might decide you need the ambulance.

 

seems so many way's for the ambulance to be kept busy.

Hmmm, I will be back on my zook marshalling these rides once a month or so... I DO ask the riders to move out the road... Hopefully the guys will start behaving again....
