I got a Felt DA4 TT bike over the weekend and I am busy setting everything up.

How do you guys carry all the tools, spare tubes, bombs, energy bars, energy drinks etc etc on your bike? I have a small Tri bag that sits on the top tube, but it is not big enough for a 70.3 or IM event.

Jealous. I know some guys tape a tube and bombs under the seat.

Nutrition is easy....tape gels and bars to the top tube

Carry it all in a tool bottle during training. Tape it all on during racing including gels and bars.

Happy birthday foxbat

All you need is two bottles on the bike and somewhere for tools and nutrition. your Tri Bag is big enough for a tube, levers and bomb and a bar, stick the gels under your shorts legs and a second bar in your back pocket. Don't load yourself up like a camel.

I love these "tuck-shops" in transition

Why buy an aero bike and then stuff up the aerodynamics by taping all sorts of junk on the frame?

Not sure how much effect on aero it will have if you tape a couple gels to the top tube behind the stem?

Also its just cool to have your gels taped there....note I am not talking about those bikes with 1 000 power bars taped to every conceivable piece of the frame.
