Dear fellow Pansies,<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I've emailed Annalize AKA Anny about a month ago asking her what the connection is with them to ER 24 Sweat Safe since I received a ER Emergency Velcro strap with a number on the inside and have until date not have a response.

I'd like to know if any one here can tell me if I'm in a accident if I can actually use this ER 24 service and what kinda cover I?m looking at. I had a quick glance at my POLICY SCHEDULE with CycleSure and it seems that I'm paying R18 for ER 24?s services. I don't recall asking for these services nor do I remember signing anything to activate the service.

Soooo, what's what, can any one enlighten me please?

Ek email gewoonlik en Anny kom dan sommer dieselfde dag terug na my. Maar nou gebeur dit nie. Ek't gekyk, ek betaal R18 per maand = R216 p/j It's not a train smash and R18's is nothing really, I'd just like to know what I'm getting or qualify for in case of a assedent. i had a look at CycleSure  / ER 24's website and I can't find any info on a package for only R18..

Marius,

I don'y have my PIN thiny with me, I think I throw it away cuz I did not ask for it, thought it was like those credit cards ppl send you in the post, then you just cut them up and throw it away since I did not ask for it. It might be in my camblebak, I'll have a look tonight.

What I don't get is these are the options you get on there website:

OPTION
ER24 BENEFIT
HOSPITAL COVER
MONTHLY PREMIUM
SweatSAFE ID
Full
Nil
R22
SweatSAFE 50
Full
R 50,000 per person
R37
SweatSAFE 100
Full
R 100,000 per person
R55

But I'm paying R18, so I'd get less than NIL% Hospital cover?

M i would presume if you got that bike insurance some of the premium would go towards option 1 with no hospital cover. i would say you should phone them and get it checked out. They say if you already have hopital plan on your medical aid you should only take out option 2 for r37. damm cheap for what it covers and just look how quickly a accident can happen see what happened sunday at TDM carnage all over the strees of Stellenbosch with broken bikes too.

Ok, I found this on CycleSure's website under "additional services":

Premium of R30.00 per family per month. Effective identification is often the key to accessing quality and rapid emergency care, where guaranteed or upfront funding may be required. SweatSafe incorporates the ER24 Cyclesure SweatBand to identify you in an accident or medical emergency and thereby is able to verify your ambulane and hospital cover immediately.

Soooo, I'm paying R18 to be identified but I seriously doubt ER 24 has any of my medical information, yet I'm still paying R18 for something that is essentially useless until I update my info with them and actually have the band on me when I?m in a accident?<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

[/quote']I think it also includes your trip to hospital via ambulance or helicopter.
