Ultegra compatibility

Hi guys.

My 6600 Ultegra shifters needs to be replaced and I would like to know if the 6700 shifters are compatable with te 6600 brakes and Dura Ace 7800 deraileurs.

Are there anyone who run this kind of setup?

Somebody told me that the pull ratio on the brakes are different.

I have no idea if that is true or not.

Please let me know

Should be fine, I am running DA shifters and Ultegra Dérailleurs and brakes and no problems at all.

There is some issue on the brakes. They do work together, but you may find that you have use slightly more effort to get the same amount of braking power.

Not sure of the technical terms, but the pivot (or is it fulcrum) on the 6700 shifters is different to the 6600 brakes.

All other components are perfectly compatible.

I ran Sram Force brakes at one stage with 6700 shifters and had no issue at all with braking.

Can't see why your set up won't work.
