Specialized Roubaix Pro?

I ride the SL2 and have had no problems with sitting in the drops for long periods of time. My frame is a 61 and with the Zipp 404 on my bike is 6.885 kg. R17000.00 no. Got a frame and seatpost,fork and headset of a Tarmac SL for R12500.00.

Dont think you can go wrong with the Roubaix, I have the previous version and really enjoy the ride. Decided to try it for its more relaxed geometry (read as old joints).

I love the Roubaix, just have a problem with the bigger sizes. They look kind of freakish with that loooong head tube. Bikeradar gave it a good writeup, but when you see the pics you'll see what i mean by the head tube.

I am glad you like the frame because I impulsively got the same one a few weeks ago.  I am still deciding how to build it (in other words I don?t have money now).

Get the Tarmac SL or the SL2.

I've been told this is better than the tarmac in that with the more relaxed angles you can ride on the drops for a reasonable time without breaking your back.

 

Or you can just do your regular stretching exercises and not break your back.

I've ordered the frame and should be getting it on mon, can't wait to do a long ride and race on it.  Hopefully as long as there aren't any problems I will be racing with it at the ride 4 sight.
